Privacy

What this waitlist stores, why, and for how long. Plain language, no lawyer needed.

What we store

Your email address, the short team description, city, which CLI you use, and how many seats you asked for. We also store a hash of your IP address to limit abuse, and a random visitor id in a cookie. We never store your raw IP address.

Why

To hold your place in the opening cohort, to send you the confirmation link, and to measure how many teams want this. The public list on the front page shows the team description, city, CLI and seat count of confirmed teams. It never shows an email address.

Legal basis

Legitimate interest and steps taken before a contract, in a business-to-business context. The only messages we send are about this list.

Cookies

One cookie, named av. It holds a random number for 180 days so the page stays the same page for you and so bots can be told apart from people. It is necessary for the service, so there is no cookie banner. We use no analytics and no tracking cookies.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. Delivering the confirmation email requires an email provider, and that provider handles your address for that purpose only. The page also loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means that service sees your IP address when the page loads; it receives nothing else and sets no cookies.

Your choices

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and using it removes you from the list and anonymises your row. You can also ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or removal by writing to us.

How long

If you never confirm, your row is anonymised after 31 days: the address is replaced and cannot be recovered. If you leave the list, that happens immediately. Confirmed rows are kept while the customer relationship lasts.
